This ensures that our wood was harvested in compliance with strict social and environment guidelines. It is compliant for use within the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED™) system of the U.S. Green Building Council.
Our Grades
| Clear | Available in Yellow Birch, this grade consists mainly of light natural sapwood with a minimal number of character marks and color variations. |
| Select | Predominantly sapwood that features minimal color variations and character marks. |
| Natural | Consists of a mix of heartwood and sapwood with a full range of natural colors and character marks. |
| Rustic | Contains a wide range of natural wood variations, with imperfections including knot holes, mineral stains and open characters. Provides for a contrasting appearance with a great deal of rustic charm & character. (check for availability - only available on an accumulation basis) |
